Batter Up for an ALS Cure (est.1999) is an all volunteer, non-profit organization that was created to raise funds for the most innovative ALS research. Batter Up for an ALS Cure is a tax exempt foundation that is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service. Our Federal Identification number is 76-0612463.

Even though we are located in Houston, Texas, we do not limit ourselves to research in just that area. We look for top researchers in the nation and try to raise funds to make their jobs easier. Our goal is simple: To end this terrible disease before another 20 year old has to endure the same pain as one of our founders, Wade Simoneaux.
